From there I added ‪@woodubendmouldings4330‬ Applique 1237 on the center drawer. WoodUbend Mouldings are easy to use, heat bendable appliques that conform to the surface on your furniture and home decor projects! From there I coated the base with two layers of Caviar, which is Dixie Belle's shade of black. I often start the blending process with a layer of dark, so that it peeks through in places, helping me to achieve a grunged, old world look. Once the finish was complete I sealed it using one coat of DB's Satin Clear Coat 👇🏽 🌼 https://dixiebellepaint.com/satin-cle... Now comes the transfer! I was so excited to use this bold, funtastic flower motif on this piece. The transfer comes in large bouquet templates, but I cut it up to suit my piece. The sky's the limit! From there I evenly spread out a layer of Tobacco Road Voodoo Gel Stain. DB's Voodoo Gel Stain line is water based, which is perfect for adding water to keep it wet while I used the Wood Graining Tool to create a faux wood grain look! I then sealed the piece with two more coats of Satin Clear Coat. Lastly, I highlighted the details, WoodUbend Moulding, hardware and top with DB's Copper Gilding Wax. Gilding Wax is an oil-based metallic accenting agent that when buffed has a brilliant shine! Remember to use this product last, as it's oil-based and won't cure properly under water based products.
