No complicated mastering workflow, no magic formula: mastering only requires 5 steps. And if you need to deviate from these 5 steps, the problem isn't your mastering, it's your production or your mix. We start with what nobody does: attack with the limiter, push the master to its breaking point, and judge all subsequent decisions based on its final state. Next, we correct the tonal balance (wide-move EQ, Soothe 2, validation with Tonal Balance Control), manage the dynamics (clipping, multiband compression with Pro-MB, listening band by band), process the stereo (mono sub-bass, widening the low-mids, the trap of the "S" pushing the "M" back), and finalize the limiter (Ozone Maximizer, Pro-L2, gain matching, ceiling).
