What If Oyu Stayed With Jubei? (Onimusha What If)

Every Onimusha game, while heavily focused on the combat, also had a significance on character relations, including romantic sub-plots. Unfortunately, the only one that did not end in a bittersweet way was that of Jubei and Oyu in Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny. Her decision to remain faithful to Nagamasa Asai meant that she and Jubei were forced to seperate despite their feelings for one another. However, with the death of Nagamasa later that same year, there was nothing to stop Oyu from finally acting on her feelings for Jubei, so how would events have changed if she did? My apologies for the delay on this one, but with covid hitting my household earlier in the month, I had to shift my focus away and concentrate on our health first. Thankfully, we're all fine now, so I'm happy to have finally gotten this finished! I particularly enjoyed writing this one, so I hope that it was worth the wait. As mentioned before, I'm putting more What-Ifs on the back-burner for now. Don't worry, they aren't stopping outright, and I'm certainly not stopping Onimusha content in general. I'm just a tad worried about burnout, so while I get a few more scenarios ready, I'll be doing a couple of other things in the meantime. Not to worry, though. My next project is going to be something VERY special!
