What If Genma Puppet Kaede Was Created During Demon Siege? (Onimusha What-If)

While we always see the widespread consequences of the Genma's actions throughout the series, something that is never really given the spotlight, a least not for long, are the emotional impact. The most obvious example of this would be the emotional damage felt by Samanosuke upon the death of Kaede, and while we see a glimpse of that effect in Twilight of Desire due to the creation of a Genma Pupper in Kaede's image, Tenkai had long since moved on given that it had happened at least more than 13 years prior, so how would he have handled seeing this puppet if she was created so soon after Kaede's death? If Guildenstern decided to take advantage of Samanosuke's loss and created the Genma Puppet during Demon Siege, how would Samanosuke have reacted, and where would that take his character? Man, this story really spiralled into one hell of an ordeal. On top of dealing with multiple technical issues throughout production, I was NOT anticipating this to effectively tie as my longest ever scenario, but given the different ideas it allowed me to play with, I'm rather happy with how it all turned out. This is the first time I've written anything where the main focus is the emotional impact on characters, but I hope it was still engaging enough for you guys.
