Today turned into a really interesting and insightful day. I had the opportunity to sit down with our local State Member, John Lister, where I was welcomed in for a genuine and open discussion around some of the current issues facing our local council and community. While it’s fair to say we come from different political perspectives, it was great to have a candid conversation about how the government process works and what’s happening behind the scenes. It definitely gave me a better understanding of the bigger picture. At the end of the day, we both agreed on one important thing — putting our community first.
