I Hate Extraction Shooters....So Why Do I Love Marathon?

I don’t I don’t like extraction shooters. I never have. So I had no interest in Marathon. Then I played it. And something very annoying happened.... This isn’t just a review. It’s me trying to figure out why a game I was ready to ignore has ended up being one of the most engaging things I’ve played in a long time. If you’ve ever bounced off extraction shooters, this might be the one worth trying. Worst case you spent less than I spend on one trip to Taco Bell.
