Team OMNI vs Chandler North, James Moyer and the guy who blocked me 16 times

Pool play kept getting tougher at The Clash and this match might’ve been the biggest test of the day. We lined up against what a lot of people call the best team in the Midwest, and from the first serve you could tell why. Big swings, smart shots, nonstop pressure, and the kind of chemistry that makes every rally feel uphill. Set 1 was a war. Every point felt earned and neither side wanted to give an inch. We managed to stay aggressive from the service line and steal momentum in a few huge rallies that kept us alive. Tons of long points, chaos at the net, and some ridiculous saves from both teams. Second set they started turning it up. Their defense tightened, transition game got cleaner, and they capitalized on every little mistake. We had our chances but couldn’t quite string enough runs together to close it out, so we end up splitting sets with one of the strongest squads we’ve played in a while. These are the matches you want in pool play though. Fast pace, high level volleyball, and a chance to see where you really stack up before bracket starts. Definitely one of the most fun matches of the weekend and a good reminder that every point matters at this level. More Clash matches on the way.
