The Voa Balinha project saga continues along the gigantic Trans-Amazonian Highway (BR 230). Crossing the Amazon from East to West, in the middle of the rainy season, winter on the Trans-Amazonian Highway, means overcoming countless challenges. This season's project journey, aboard the Fusca Balinha (Little Balinha Beetle), covered a small part of the states of Maranhão and Tocantins, and a large part of the state of Pará. In this episode, we bid farewell to beautiful Pará and continue our Amazonian travels through the state of Amazonas. The flight cannot stop, and the Fusca Balinha continues its journey through the Northern Region of Brazil towards Peru, Cusco, and Machu Picchu. This trip is a continuation of Flight 012, a flight that began at night through the Amazon rainforest, right on the border of the two giant states: Pará and Amazonas. The Trans-Amazonian Highway on the Amazonas state side has improved somewhat, but it still presents a challenge for our old car, mainly due to the many potholes, "cattle ribs," ditches, etc. In that sense, the saga continues: Trans-Amazonian Highway.
