During tonight and early Sunday morning, Tropical Wave No. 15 will move south of the coasts of Guerrero and Michoacán, interacting with a low-pressure trough over the north, west, central, and southeast of the country. The influx of moisture from the Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, and Pacific Ocean, as well as atmospheric instability, will cause very heavy rains in Zacatecas (south and southwest), Nayarit (east and south), Jalisco (north, east, and west), Colima, Michoacán (north and west), and Guanajuato (southwest); heavy rains in Chihuahua (southwest), Durango (northwest, west, and south), Sinaloa (east), Aguascalientes, Querétaro (south), State of Mexico (central and west), Mexico City, Morelos (north), Guerrero (central and southeast), Oaxaca (west), Chiapas (south), Campeche (central and south), and Yucatán (east and south). These conditions could raise the levels of rivers and streams, as well as cause flooding, landslides, and waterlogging. Showers are also forecast for parts of Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, Puebla, Veracruz, and Quintana Roo, with isolated rain in Sonora and Tabasco.
