Wolverhampton's Ugliest Neighbourhood?
A maze of streets between sandwiched between the Blakenhall and Graiseley districts of Wolverhampton, a district where practically no-one actually lives. There are factories, workshops, warehouses, offices and, rather appropriately given the area’s industrial nature, a heavy metal venue. But, profoundly unlovely as the area may be, it has an interesting history particularly in the manufacture of motor cars and motorcycles in the early years of the twentieth century. Star, Briton, Wearwell, Wolf and Sunbeam are all names associated with the area.
