Leaving the Lower Mainland behind, our road trip continues along a short stretch of the Crowsnest Highway (Highway 3) before we join the infamous Coquihalla Highway (Highway 5). We climb its southernmost section, up the Smasher, to reach the Britton Creek rest area and our first rest stop of the day.
