Welcome to Part 6 of the Saffron Trail, a 71 mile long distance walk from Southend to Saffron Walden, a diagonal walk across the county of Essex. This 10 mile stretch from Great Dunmow to Henham is probably the most history-rich section of the trail, visiting numerous Norman churches, historic houses, a castle motte, abbey ruins and a 10th Century Anglo-Saxon church!
