VLOG 10 - Day 2 Early Morning Game Drive In Serengeti National Park {AFRICA}

Day 11 Serengeti National Park Our second day at Serengeti National Park began before the sun was even up. We dragged ourselves out of bed in the dark, eager to catch the wildlife at their most active. Our guide, Sied, had informed us that the animals are busiest during these cool, wee hours of the morning, and he was absolutely right. Almost immediately, we caught the tail end of a dramatic standoff: a leopard fiercely protecting its fresh catch from a lurking hyena. After that thrilling start, the rest of the day was filled with hours of bumpy driving through the vast plains. We crossed paths with the familiar, beautiful cast of Serengeti regulars: majestic elephants, herds of zebras, and graceful impalas. It was incredible how quickly we became accustomed to seeing such extraordinary creatures just outside our window.
