Crystal Ball Manipulation Lesson 04 — Fist Isolation

Welcome to Palmvex Crystal Ball Manipulation Fundamentals. This is Lesson 04 of a complete beginner course on crystal ball manipulation. In this lesson, we learn fist isolation — a basic control drill for keeping the ball fixed while the fist and arm move around it. Before learning more advanced fist and palm movements, it is important to understand how to stall the ball on a closed fist, how to keep one fixed point, and how to create contrast between movement and stillness. We will practice placing the ball on the fist, rotating the arm around the ball, watching the image inside the ball to check for shaking, and using a starting point to create horizontal and vertical movement. This lesson also explains why a tighter fist and a smaller contact point can make the movement look cleaner and help future fist-based crystal ball movements. This course focuses on isolation, visual control, and foundational ball manipulation techniques. New lessons will be added to this playlist.
