Civil War is upon us! Welcome to Alternate History Gaming! In this session, we’re fighting this historic military campaign as “The Devil South”, a CSA Campaign in Grand Tactician Civil War. We’re waging war in an Alternate History universe. This video focuses on military history and the tactical analysis of commanding forces in a strategy war game. BACKGROUND: The Union is dissolved! 13 Slaves states as well as Cuba, Nicaragua and the Oklahoma Indian territory have agreed to serve under the new authority of the Confederate States of America. Hostilities have commenced and the blood letting of Summer, 1861 has begun in earnest. Tonight, we continue our campaign in mid-June, 1861. The second major battle of the war has taken place in west-central Missouri. At “The Battle of Warsaw”, 7,500 Confederates under Gen. Benjamin McCulloch’s command managed to stand their ground against 24,000 federals under Union Gen. Harney. There was also one major clash between two green USA and CSA armies near Fredericksburg, VA with Union forces there put to a route, fleeing back to Washington! Field armies continue mustering across the continent. Weapons manufactories are humming with activity and recruiting centers fill with eager would-be heroes.
