Early Campaign Expertise | Grand Tactician Civil War

Welcome to Alternate History Gaming! Civil War is upon us! Tonight, we continue our campaign into mid-September, 1861. A sturdy South has continued to remain resilient, repulsing every Union attempt to make gains in this still fledgling conflict. Leadership in Richmond is praising Generals like P.G.T. Beauregard and Gideon Pillow. Both men have enjoyed outrageous success, against the odds, in their respective campaigns in Virginia and Tennessee. BACKGROUND: In this session, we’re fighting this historic military campaign and this is the “CSA Blood & Iron”, part of my CSA Campaign in Grand Tactician Civil War. We’re waging war in an Alternate History universe. This video focuses on military history and the tactical analysis of commanding forces in a strategy war game. Now is the time to capitalize on our early successes and set the Confederacy up for victory in the long run. In another theater of critical importance, far to the west, over 13,000 Confederates under Maj. Gen. Benjamin McCulloch’s command are preparing for offensive operations against 16,000 nearby federals operating in west-central Missouri. It should be an eventful stream!
