Catapult this! Huh? See my R/C aircraft catapult launch all kinds of things, plus my Opterra 2M.

UPDATE. Retracts and Ducted fans.    • 2nd Flight Attempt of the Twin EDF Opterra...   I didn't have any planes to launch anymore since the fire until I got my F-27 and Opterra 2M. But still, I never did think I ever would need another catapult again in my life. But one tiny wind gust on a hand launch of my Opterra, and I got bitten. So building a launcher strong enough to launch my big, heavy, 7 foot wingspan, Opterra 2M wing became a necessity. It also is a hell of a lot of fun for sure.
