Episode 50 - Welcome to our 50th episode of Our Loop Journey. We are so excited to have you onboard Valkyrie. This episode features our trip from Portage Lake, MI to Manistee, MI. Bad weather is predicted so if we wanted to move we needed to get going before the waves kicked up in Lake Michigan. No boater wants to get caught in Lake Michigan in bad weather. The plan was to get a slip at Manistee Municipal Marina but there was a question as to whether or not we would even fit in a slip. We did not have a backup plan so we needed to fit.
