Ten days into our Great Loop adventure, we're finally settling into life aboard Black Diamond. In this episode, we leave Port Canaveral, head for Daytona Beach, say goodbye to First Matt, meet fellow Loopers, and get an unexpected call from the Coast Guard telling us to stay 500 yards away from a Navy vessel we can't even see. Other boats were called out for getting to close. Along the way we're learning what boat life really looks like: sea legs, one meal a day, rising fuel prices, new friendships, local recommendations, and figuring out how to live with everything we own within ten feet of us. We also explore Fernandina Beach, visit Florida's oldest saloon, and share an honest conversation about what it's been like adjusting to this new lifestyle.
