IRIMI (入り身): Como avançar e entrar com o corpo no Aikido
Irimi (入身) is one of the main concepts and foundations of Aikido. Entering the body, advancing, into the opponent and the conflict situation is a fundamental skill in any art. In Aikido, Irimi is one of the central pillars in the strategy of dealing with the opponent and entering the blind spot (shikaku, 死角). Furthermore, all techniques in Omote use this foundation for their execution. In this video I will show the basic ways of performing Irimi, entering Aikido with the body, as well as teaching how to do it, with solo exercises, with weapons and in pairs. Filmed at Seimeikan Dojo, Rua Vergueiro, 7428, Ipiranga, São Paulo/ SP, Brazil. Filming and editing: Stefano Fernandes (808 films) Uke: Diego Javier (2nd dan) Dogi, Hakama and track: @Tamashii Kokoro Leonardo Sensei teaches classes at Seimeikan Dojo, Rua Vergueiro, 7428, Ipiranga. www.aikidoleonardosodre.com.br
