Strengthening Academic Collaboration in Africa through the FAO elearning Academy

This webinar, organized in collaboration with the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), explores how the FAO elearning Academy supports universities and higher education institutions through free, multilingual and certified learning opportunities. The session presents forestry-related courses and learning resources available through the FAO eLearning Academy, shares practical approaches for integrating FAO e-learning courses into university curricula and postgraduate programmes, and highlights a concrete case study from the National University of Agriculture of Benin. The webinar also provides an opportunity to strengthen collaboration between FAO, RUFORUM and universities across Africa in support of capacity development, knowledge sharing and sustainable agrifood systems transformation.
