Watch as singer Roger Daltrey tells the crowd Pete Townshend won't be attending the soundcheck as "he's stuck in New York...but don't worry, he'll be here for the gig!" Daltrey then shares some light humor with Townshend's guitar technician Simon Law and the crowd, as he announces Law will stand in for Townshend and play some guitar parts. During the soundcheck, Daltrey, Law, and 6 additional backing musicians, band crew and technical assistants sort through sound mixing and preparation for the concert later in the evening. Band members play parts of The Who songs "Who Are You", "I Can See for Miles", and "Going Mobile" while communicating and planning for the evening show.
