Especially in 2026, with new generation processors, longer software support, advanced AI features, and more efficient batteries, older models are starting to become less sensible choices for many users. In this video, based entirely on my own experiences and technical evaluations, I've explained in detail which phone series should no longer be preferred and why. The models I mentioned in the video are: 📱 Apple iPhone 11 series iPhone 12 series iPhone 13 series iPhone 14 series and all older iPhone models 📱 Samsung Galaxy A15 Galaxy A35 Galaxy A55 Galaxy S22 series and older Samsung models 📱 Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO Xiaomi 13T and older models Redmi Note 12 series Xiaomi 12 Ultra POCO X6 and older models POCO F5 and older models 📱 Honor Models under Honor 400 Models under Honor 400 Pro Honor models older than Magic 7 Pro 📱 Huawei Models under Pura 70 series Nova 13 series and older Huawei models ⚠️ Important Note: I am not saying that the models I mentioned in this video are "bad phones". If you're already using these devices, they might still suffice for daily use. However, I don't think buying them new or at high prices in 2026 is a good idea. The main reasons are: ✅ Reduced or nearing end of software update intervals ✅ AI features being significantly more limited compared to newer models ✅ Camera performance lagging behind newer devices ✅ Lower battery efficiency ✅ Noticeable differences in heating and performance ✅ Lack of new screen technologies and connectivity features ✅ The availability of much more powerful alternatives at the same price point Of course, they might still be preferable for some users if they can be found at affordable prices in the second-hand market.
