Crossing ID: 478 341R NS Huntington District NS 121 (Daily WB Manifest) [Sterling Heights, MI - Mitchell, IL] Configuration: 2x0x0 CSX 5489 (ES40DC) RL K5LA BNSF 7757 (ES44DC) Once I caught 258, I met up with Nicholas in Peru where we found this 121 making a pickup near the yard office. We waited in the downtown area before we heard over the scanners that 121 was ready to go. Once we got here, we saw that West Peru was showing a diverging clear on track 2 for 121 to depart. 121 then came by a couple minutes later with a CSX GEVO and a BNSF GEVO up front. This early 2010s NS install has only had both original diagonal gates replaced with the vertical ones since installation. June 22, 2026
