Shen Ling rarely appears in public. After retiring from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, her life became simpler: painting, gardening, playing with her cats, going out, relaxing in cafes, and taking walks with her husband, Wang Yuping. She showed her talent early on. As a core member of the new generation of painters in the 1990s, she is one of the few female artists born in the 1960s still active today. Regardless of what's popular or what's criticized, and no matter how her personal circumstances rise and fall with the times, she has never stopped painting. Shen Ling rarely appears in public. She showed her talent early on. As a core member of the "New Generation" painting group in the 1990s, she is one of the few female artists born in the '60s who has remained active to this day.
