Deciding to release this as a mother's day gift. Thanks, mom. I was scrolling through my photos looking for something procurable for an album cover photo, and this photo of Chuck had a very retro appeal. Say hello to him. The album title is simply how life is, where, despite the lyrics of Tides of March (that version I haven't even released lol) saying that "the storm is more than in your head", the storm is usually only in your head. Hell is only what is missing, but what we have is heaven. Though, we never aren't missing something, thus it is only mostly heaven. More than I could ask for. The style of this album? Originally inspired by doves. If you are a fan of theirs, perhaps you will enjoy. Britpop is a good genre by all means. Like a britpop/prog rock fusion. Fans of Vangelis may enjoy at points as well. But it takes some liberties and turns closer to the end. This album has some real lovely moments for fans of post-rock as well.
