Bedtime Routine (Part 2) - Leanne's Story, Episode 5 | #notanurse_but
In episode five, Leanne puts Sophie to bed and explains her ventilation, sleep system and the need for care throughout the night. Her daughter, Sophie suffers from a number of conditions including level 5 cerebral palsy, epilepsy and scoliosis. Supported by UK children's charity WellChild, this video blog was produced by Leanne as part of the #Notanurse_but campaign - a parent driven campaign aimed at raising awareness of the daily challenges of life caring for children with complex health needs and to highlight the gaps in support that exist.
