Kaeli and Lily's Cerebral Palsy Story at Gillette Children's
Kaeli is always ther for her sister, Lily, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Kaeli knows that's what sisterhood means. A happy girl who communicates with sounds, smiles and frowns, one message Lily makes clear, is that she idolizes Kaeli. “Lily loves, loves, loves Kaeli,” says the girls’ mom, Adele. “When Kaeli’s in the room, Lily’s eyes are on her.” Kaeli and Lily, both Gillette patients, represented Minnesota in the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Champions program in 2013. Watch and share their remarkable story of sisterhood. Through Children's Miracle Network fundraising, local businesses ensure their fundraising dollars don't go just anywhere — they benefit children served by their local children's hospital. In Minnesota, all funds raised by Children's Miracle Network sponsors — retailers like Walmart and Costco, restaurants like Dairy Queen, and a variety of businesses ranging from hotels to real estate companies — benefit Gillette.
