The video shows the Chilean man being held down on a sidewalk, while another man beats him and, insulting him, asks him in English why he had stolen from the table moments earlier. Noticing the commotion, a police officer who was about to start duty intervened: he called his colleagues for support, who arrested the 40-year-old.
