Looking at PIC investments
The Public Investment Corporation says it's ready to take legal action against Steinhoff should the mediation process between the entities fail. The Public Investment Corporation and the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) appeared before Parliament's Standing Committee on Finance yesterday. The two entities jointly presented a progress report on Steinhoff following the collapse of the multi-billion rand company which led to losses of about R20 billion that the Government Employee Pension Fund had invested with Steinhoff through the PIC. Ndumiso Hadebe, an economist and director at Pax Africana Investment Holdings will be looking at some funds. For more news, visit sabcnews.com and also #SABCNews on Social Media.
