This is a video about my usual day in my grandfather's old house, where I recently moved to live. I go outside, sharpen an ax and chop firewood so that the house is warm. In such things, you feel real strength and peace - as if you are returning to the simple life that was once familiar to our grandfathers and grandmothers. Then I take a trough and carry it out to the yard. Near the trough I collect water and wash old tulle and rugs that have been hanging on the walls of the house for many years. They have already turned yellow from time, but they have their own history and memory. The day passes with simple things, and in the evening I decided to do something special - to make dumplings with potatoes. When everything is ready, I go out into the yard, sit under an old apple tree and have dinner in the open air. Silence, a light breeze and a warm evening make this moment truly cozy.
