Synth Stuff Ep. 30 - Korg MS2000B
Thanks for one year of Synth Stuff and for making me hit 500 subs! Tomorrow (Feb 9, 2018) marks one year since uploading the MS-20 Mini episode. The MS2000 (and MS2000B) is one of the coolest looking synths Korg ever made. This was Korg's attempt to bring back the analog style workflow and the sound is very much that of the early 2000's. The sound engine would later be put into the Microkorg. The "B" version adds an XLR input and a new color, but the sound engine is the same as the original MS2000. I wouldn't call this a must-have, but check it out if you come across one in a shop and see if it's right for you. The only real drag is the four note polyphony...
