To the question "how to get to the Sacra di San Michele?" I'd answer "on foot!" 🚶‍♂️ There are several nature trails you can follow to reach the Sacra di San Michele, and of the four main ones, we've chosen the most scenic route: The Path of the Princes! 🤴 The Path of the Princes (in Piedmontese "Strà dij Prinsi") owes its name to the fact that on the night of October 25, 1836, at the behest of Charles Albert, the remains of 27 princes and princesses of the House of Savoy were transported from Turin Cathedral to the Sacra di San Michele along this path for a worthy burial.
