The story of a Soviet off-road vehicle built in a factory evacuated by the Wehrmacht, it scaled Mount Elbrus to an altitude of 4,200 meters, was used by the armies of 80 countries, and participated in almost every armed conflict of the second half of the 20th century. From Polish military training grounds and Polish Army outposts in the Bieszczady Mountains, through Afghan mountain passes, to the Italian Martorelli workshops and the Czech electric Spartan project.
