The Fracture Routes are the galaxy’s broken roads, where fractured starlanes twist through memory, distance, fear, and time. Ships cross because they must, not because passage is safe. Navigators tremble, route-prayers are spoken, convoys vanish, and vessels may return years late with altered crews and uncertain names. Fracture Cartel guides sell survival at a price, while every jump risks arriving changed, delayed, lost, or carrying memories that no longer belong to the living left behind now. (Verse 1) The Fracture Routes lie open where the wounded starlanes bend, And every chart remembers ships that never reached their end. The pilots speak in whispers as the beacon lights appear, For passage through the Fracture has a taste of ancient fear. (Verse 2) The Navigators tremble where the broken distances call, With starfield eyes reflecting paths that do not hold at all. They count the prayers of passengers before the engines glide, And hear the names of lost convoys still knocking from inside. (Chorus) The Routes are never empty, though the darkness may seem clear, They twist the road through memory, through debt, through time, through fear. A ship may leave at morning and return with centuries late, Or come back full of strangers wearing every vanished face. (Verse 3) The Fracture Cartel bargains with a smile and hidden blade, And sells the fearful passage as the price of lawful trade. They guide the rich through thunder while the poor are left to pray, Then mark the ships that vanish as the toll the Routes must pay. (Verse 4) Some crews forget their children when the route begins to sing, Some wake with borrowed birthdays and a ghost beneath the ring. Some dock at wrong horizons with their cargo turned to dust, And some arrive in silence with no captain left to trust.
