Sunday CTF Burial (5th July 2026)

Team Red: DeadSShoter, Spinki, Zheka2015kz, KraftZwerg Team Blue: tmp chl, Kastaneda, JUN1US, TigerBLUE Really good match I thought, lots of great moments and could've gone either way. I played several matches last night that I wasn't very happy with (especially a 0-8 on Tempest !) but I was mostly very happy with how I played in this one. I definitely made a few mistakes (never use a jump pad when you know DeadSShoter is waiting for you at the top !) but I also made some very good decisions at times and made several very good defences I thought. I was in two minds at the end about grabbing HA or going straight to Prot, I reckon 99% of players would've gone straight to Prot but something was telling me not to. The being in two minds thing is why I slipped off the edge rather than just jumped to HA and I guess I got lucky with the timing of everything because it worked out that I was able to surprise DeadSShoter with rockets...and a big stack ! After I managed to steal Prot I definitely made the right decision to retreat to base...I had a great last minute, mostly because I think the enemy players were distracted by my teammates and not aware I had retreated so far back. "Surprise MF !" ;-) gg ! = = = Unfortunately I'm unable to use any of my text macros or type any text in game at the moment. I have two keyboards, one is a "half keyboard" (Red Dragon DITI K585) which I use to play on but doesn't have all the keys for typing and the other is a very old, full size Razor keyboard that I use to type on, normally at the end of the match when I switch. I used to be able to use macros on the Red Dragon to say things like "glhf" and ":-)" but it seems to have recently started clashing with my Razor and in game those text macros don't work and I also cannot type on the Razor at all until we're back to the lobby, not sure why at the moment. I'm "old school" and feel a bit "rude" because I can't say "gg" at the end of a match ;-) I also can't give a friendly ":-)" or ":p" or "n1" as I normally like to do. I did want to respond to JUN1US' "cheers luv" (LOL, fellow Brit !) at the end of round1 but couldn't (this was in relation to the 07:52 encounter. I didn't realise he was there (with flag) at the HA until I was in the air off the jump pad, I saw he was low so threw a totem for him but unfortunately, at the same time I could see the HA was about to spawn and accidentally took it. D'oh ! Thankfully it didn't cause a problem as the enemy was in advance of our position and the half was about to end anyway.
