Windows 98 Computer

This computer I an old XYLO from 2000 and runs Windows 98 Second Edition. The computer currently has an Intel Pentium 3 installed.The version of Microsoft Office installed on it is Microsoft Office 97 Professional. It also has a Tornado V92 56k external dial up modem installed however it is connected to the internet via an ethernet card directly connected with a cable to the router. The web browser that I use on it that supports Windows 98 is Mozilla Firefox 2.5 and somewhat works to browse the web. Windows 98 is the successor to Windows 95 and the MS-DOS counterpart to Windows NT 4. Windows 98 was the fist version of Windows to introduce active desktop, quick launch and Windows Update. Windows 98 came in two main releases as Windows 98 First Edition in 1998 and Windows 98 Second Edition in 1999. Support for Windows 98 ended in 2006. Windows 98 would be the last version of Windows to have the option to restart the computer in MS-DOS mode.
