Mähdrescher gerät bei Erntearbeiten in Brand - Feuerwehr bekämpft den Vollbrand

On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at approximately 1 p.m., the fire department in Beckeln received a report of a burning combine harvester. The driver had noticed the fire while harvesting and, with remarkable presence of mind, steered the vehicle onto a harvested section of the field, preventing the fire from spreading too quickly to the dry grain. With around 45 firefighters, the emergency responders brought the fully engulfed combine harvester under control. Further spread of the fire was prevented, but the combine was completely destroyed. Fortunately, no one was injured.
