E39 BMW Front Seats Removal and Deep Interior Clean (Part 3 of 4)

One of the best things to do when you get a new car is to remove the front seats and give the carpets a nice deep clean! You can vacuum up years of collected trash and debris while also getting good access to your seats while they are out of the car. It doesn't take very long and yields a huge result. The car will smell like new and you may find few dollars in change. The E39 interior is a pretty typical interior. The only part to watch out for is the wire attached to the bottom of the seat for the seat belt adjuster over your shoulder. I would also recommend pre-aligning the seats to give you good access to all four bolts before you disconnect the battery.
