From Inspection Saloon to Baby Swans: A Dawlish Wander - 01/06/26

With the heatwave finally breaking and a bit of drizzle returning, I headed over to Dawlish to meet up with ‪@andybyrne50‬ as well as Steve & Elaine, for a good old catch-up wander. The day gets off to a very train-heavy start when a rare Inspection Saloon comes blasting through, before we slow things down with a history walk looking at some old brochure adverts and memories from years gone by. Later we make our way along the Brook to check in on Rosie & Bluey’s eggs, the nesting geese and, of course, the cygnets, which are rapidly becoming young swans now.
