Talyllyn Railway - The 1865 - 2015 Gala - Saturday 8th August 2015

As part of their 150th anniversary celebrations, the Talyllyn Railway held multiple gala events throughout the 2015 season. The beginning of August saw one such event, this time being the 1865-2015 gala, concentrating on the full history of running on the Talyllyn. The Saturday of the event was blessed with sunshine, and the trains were well filled throughout the day, which included an engineering train, and a wedding special! The line had all of it's operational steam locos in service, plus one of their diesels.
