Indiana Jones Collection 4K UHD Review-This revisionism doesn’t belong in a museum

#indianajones #4kuhd #physicalmedia I review the Paramount 4k UHD collection of the Indiana Jones series. Unfortunately these masters in spite of new 4K scans have been subjected to manipulation and revisionism. Every effects shot has been messed with, no original audio is present, paramount disc encoding issues abound with lots of compression artifacts, there are no new extras, the HDR has pop out at times, the packaging is cheap and flimsy and ultimately there is no upside to this release. 00:00 Goof 00:00:18 Introduction 02:16 Every special effects or composite shot has been altered or changed in the 4K masters 13:04 Raiders 4K master credit screwup 14:49 No original audio mixes 16:07 All of the Raiders giant audio problems 18:23 Raiders theatrical audio mixes mini history 19:37 Raiders audio mixes on video mini history 20:22 The holy Raiders LD audio mix 21:55 2003 DVD audio 5.1 mixes 23:09 Raiders UHD audio summary 25:38 Temple and Crusade Atmos remixes 29:40 Make your own audio comparisons to see for yourself 30:03 Crystal Skull Atmos remix 31:09 Color Grading and HDR 36:45 HDR application 39:55 Classic Paramount 4K encoding and processing issues 41:00 Massive inconsistent compression noise at times especially shots of skies and Tanis dig scene 43:55 Video summary-these could have been great and should have been 46:15 Flimsy lackluster packaging and artwork 51:41 Comparing crappy UHD box packaging to DVD and Blu-ray boxes 54:22 Supplemental features recycles the 2012 BD.
