This is a 22-minute dynamic warm-up for the whole body. It can be used before a group practice, strength training, yoga class, or as a stand-alone short mini-session for mobilization, moderate strength work, and preparing the body for movement. Included: several exercises with explanations, dynamic work on the main joints, active stretching of the major muscle groups, and a gradual transition to more intense work. An important point: a warm-up shouldn't be a magical ritual (although it can be, why not) or a series of random movements. Its purpose is simpler: to increase readiness for training, help the body get into the swing of things, and make the first few sets more manageable.
