Hatch received the 1981 Ivor Novello award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. I recorded my instrumental as a request for Pete Walker as it’s his all time favourite song. Hope you like my interpretation Pete !! I used my Fender Stratocaster Custom 56 NOS with Kinman 54 V3 impersonator pickups on mid position.
