Season with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. 5. Set the oven or air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius and the timer to 30 minutes. Add the chickpeas and cook until done. 6. Remove the chickpeas every 10 minutes and stir them evenly while roasting (the more often you do this, the more evenly they cook). 7. Once the chickpeas are roasted to a delicious color, pour them into a bowl and add garlic powder to season them nicely. (You can also use your preferred seasonings, such as MSG, red chili powder, or curry powder.) (It is okay) 8. Place on a wide plate and let it cool completely in a cool place.
