Redcar Central Station 29/5/19

Redcar Central Station lies on the line between Middlesbrough and Saltburn. The station sees two trains an hour in each direction both of which are operated by Northen Rail. The station boasts a signal box and a sliding gate level crossing replacing an older swing gate crossing something that was fairly rare on the rail network. This is one of three stations in Redcar this one being the busiest in terms of passenger numbers. The station sees one or two daily freight workings to the Salt mine in Bulby on the coast. We are diving back through the archives to see how much footage we had recorded but never was used so please don't mind the sporadic placing of the videos at the moment!
