Britain's most UNRELIABLE Train?! | The Class 230 D Train

Hello! A little while back I delved into the class 769 FLEX train operated by Northern, regarded as one of the worst trains currently in service. However, many of you pointed to the class 230 D Train, the former District Line tube train converted to mainline use. This quirky unit currently operates with Transport for Wales and has had a rocky lifespan; from liquidation to severe unreliability, is this Britain's most unreliable train? That's what I'll explore in this video alongside looking at the general history of these trains and exploring part of the Borderlands Line! Few notes; apologies for pretty dire audio in the first few minutes; I decided to zip my puffer jacket all the way which blocked the mic (rookie mistake) so had to edit the audio to try and increase the volume, make the audio clearer whilst trying to remove some of the coat rustles - my apologies! Also I did get caught out by a broken down freight train but do keep watching, I do go on the 230s later in the video! Also huge thanks to both Michael & Chris (AKA Rail Focus) for helping supply me some much-needed class 230 footage, you can view their content here; Michael's Main Channel -    / @mikewillsee   Michael's Other Channel -    / @networknewsuk   Chris's Channel -    / @rail_focus   Thanks for watching.
