Location: Kings Dyke, Peterborough Postcode: PE7 2JB Funthams Lane Level Crossing, located on a fairly quiet road but is used for quite a lot of HGVs because of the nearby Port areas around here. One of the alarms produces a flat tone now from when it was faulty about 2 years ago since this was filmed. It can be seen that as the barriers raise after the first closure, they lower back down after about 22 Seconds! That just gave me enough time to walk to the other side of the crossing. Kings Dyke Level Crossing that was located on a very busy road but has been closed off now since near the end of 2022. There was a new bypass next to the crossing that opened up to traffic because lots of HGVs were using that crossing constantly in the past before this crossing closed permanently.
