Peavey Classic VT vs VTX

1978 VT-series vs 1982 VTX-series Peavey Classics played with a 2015 Squier Affinity Telecaster. Both 50W and 2x12, the VTX has Scorpion speakers and the VT has Eminence speakers. Tube power amp (6L6) and solid state preamp. The VTX has preamp circuits which includes saturation whereas the VT hasn't, why its much cleaner than the VTX. I'm miking the speakers where the dustup meets the cone. MD421 close mic and C414 room mic at the camera set to omni. All EQ knobs on 5 on both amps. Used the high channel on the VTX and the bright channel on the VT.
