Hymn to Hathor in Middle Egyptian

A hymn for Hathor, Lady of Dendera, in Middle Egyptian. For this one I actually forewent archaisms and attempted to reconstruct a more Middle/Late Egyptian sound for some of the vowels and consonants. For some reason I thought it might be more fitting. Anyway, I sincerely hope you enjoy this hymn to the Goddess of music, joy, pleasure, and femininity. And my usual note: If you study the reconstruction of vocalisms in Old and Middle Egyptian and wish to help, please contact me. My email is [email protected]. The current reconstructions are extremely limited and rudimentary so I would love to have an expert, or at least a full student on the subject, pitch in their work if they are willing in future songs. A thank you to Ranefer from 𓉐𓁦 for some of the images in the video (: Credits: Lyrics: Siamun Hieroglyphic Translation: Ali Strnad Egyptological Transliteration: Ali Strnad Vocal reconstruction: Siamun Vocals: Siamun Guitar, Sistrum, Flute, & Drums: Siamun Editing: Siamun Video: Siamun
